Ministry of Power, Government of India vide its notification no F.No.15/3/2018-Trans-Pt (1) dated 06.12.2021 has notified REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited to be the Bid Process Coordinator (BPC) for the purpose of selection of Bidder as Transmission Service Provider (TSP) to establish Inter-State transmission system for “Transmission scheme for injection beyond 3 GW RE power at Khavda PS1 (KPS1)” through tariff based competitive bidding process

REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) (BPC) invited prospective bidding for selection of Bidder as Transmission Service provider (TSP) on basis of International competitive bidding in accordance with the “Tariff Based Competitive bidding(TBCB) guidelines for Transmission Service” and “Guidelines for Encouraging Competition in Development of Transmission Projects” issued by Government of India, Ministry of Power under section -63 of The Electricity Act, 2003 and as amended time-time. The responsibility of TSP would be to establish the Inter-state Transmission system on Build-Own, Operate & Transfer basis to provide Transmission Service.

RECPDCL has issued Request for Proposal (RFP) document Dated 25th July’2022 to M/s Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd., as regards participation in the Global Invitation for Bids for “Transmission scheme for injection beyond 3GW RE Power at Khavda PS1 (KPS1)” and as amended till the Bid deadline including all correspondence/clarifications/amendments/Errata/Corrigendum exchanged between “M/s Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd.” and RECPDCL in regards thereto (Final RFP).

M/s Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd., by way of Technical Bid & Financial Bid pursuant to above submitted on 03rd Feb,2023 in response to final RFP.

The offer M/s Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd. by way of a Financial Bid -final offer submitted during e-Reverse bidding process concluded on 15th March’2023 in response to Final RFP.

RECPDCL (BPC) communicated vide ref. No.: RECPDCL/TBCB/KPS1/2022-23/3577 dated 23rd March’2023 communicated that BID has been accepted and M/s Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd. is hereby declared as the successful Bidder as per the respective clauses of Final RFP and LOI issued.

M/s Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd., has submitted unconditional acceptance of LOI on 25th March’2023.
